The international visiting lecturers programme of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities is intended for any of the faculty's own university teachers who wish to invite an international academic to the University of Passau for the purpose of promoting cooperation in teaching and improving student exchange.
On the one hand, the programme intends to acquaint students at home at the University of Passau with international academic content and methods. On the other hand, the purpose is to create exchange opportunities and points of contact for future cooperation activities and to strengthen ongoing partnerships.

Only university teachers of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Passau are eligible to apply.

The hosting chair or professor has primary responsibility for assisting the academic during his or her visit. The Welcome Centre of the University of Passau offers comprehensive support to both the chairs and professors when it comes to finding accommodation and organising a ZIM account, Stud.IP access and a CampusCard.
